Dimitris Papadopoulos

Dimitris Papadopoulos is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Boston University, earned in 2016. His research focuses on cryptographic protocols that balance rigorous security guarantees with practicality, spanning theoretical cryptography, applied network security, blockchain security, and the economical aspects of secure cloud computing. His work includes post-doctoral research at the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies.
