Charles Zhang

Charles Zhang is a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on Software Engineering and Programming Languages, Cybersecurity, with an emphasis on program analysis techniques to enhance software reliability. He serves as the director of the Cybersecurity Lab and has contributed to numerous international conferences and editorial roles. His work has received recognition through awards such as the distinguished paper awards at PLDI, OOPSLA, and ICSE, as well as the ACM SIGSOFT Doctoral Dissertation Award.
