Long Quan

Long Quan is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on Vision and Graphics, including 3D Reconstruction, Structure from Motion, Vision Geometry, and Image-based Modeling. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from INPL, France, and joined HKUST in 2001. Prior to this, he was a French CNRS senior research scientist at INRIA in Grenoble since 1990. He has served on the editorial boards of several journals and has been involved in the organization of major conferences in computer vision and pattern recognition. He is an IEEE Fellow of the Computer Society.
