Qian Zhang

Prof. Qian Zhang is the Tencent Professor of Engineering and Chair Professor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Her research focuses on Networking and Computer Systems, including computer networking, wireless systems, cyber-physical systems, mobile computing, and cybersecurity. Prof. Zhang joined HKUST in 2005 and has been actively involved in research and academic leadership roles, including co-director of the Huawei-HKUST innovation lab and director of the digital life research center of HKUST. She has published extensively in leading journals and conferences and holds numerous patents in her field.
