Peng Lu

Prof. Peng Lu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Hong Kong. His research interests include autonomous UAVs, vision and control for ground robotics, and advanced control techniques. Prof. Lu obtained his BSc and MSc degrees in automatic control and nonlinear flight control from Northwestern Polytechnical University and his PhD from Delft University of Technology. He has worked as a Postdoc researcher at ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich, and was previously an assistant professor at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His work has been recognized through awards such as 3rd place in the 2019 IROS autonomous drone racing competition and finalist status in the AIAA GNC best graduate student paper. He has also served as an associate editor and session chair for several conferences.
