Yuguo Li

Yuguo Li is a Chair Professor of Building Environment at The University of Hong Kong, Department of Mechanical Engineering. He holds the title of Chair Professor by Courtesy at the Faculty of Architecture and Honorary Professor at the School of Public Health. His research focuses on the building environment, with recent emphasis on city sustainability engineering, including engineering studies of infection (contagio-physics) and urban climate design. He has published over 350 papers and has been recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate. Li has contributed to WHO COVID-19 guidelines and has served on multiple editorial boards and advisory panels. His work has been funded by various organizations, including RGC, NSFC, WHO, and Boeing.
