Lixi Huang

Lixi Huang is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Hong Kong. His research interests include aerodynamics and acoustics, innovative broadband noise control, and flow-induced vibration and interaction with sound. Huang was educated at Beijing Institute of Aeronautics and the University of Cambridge, where he earned his BEng and MPhil in aerospace engineering and conducted PhD research in theoretical acoustics and respiratory biomechanics. He has worked at the Whittle Lab and Peterhouse College, University of Cambridge, and has contributed to industrial and environmental noise control. His research has been funded by various Hong Kong government agencies, industry, and mainland sources. He currently serves on editorial boards for several acoustics journals.
