Regular biography
Xuanlai Fang is a Chair Professor of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Hong Kong. He is affiliated with the Mechanical Engineering department and can be contacted via email at mech@hku.hk or through his personal website at https://mech.hku.hk/academic-staff/fang-x/. His research interests include micro/nanotechnology, scalable manufacturing processes for wave functional materials, and applications in energy conversion, communication, and biomedical imaging. His work has led to over 16 patent applications in nano- and micro-fabrication, additive manufacturing, and imaging technologies, with successful technology transfer to industry and startups.
