Dr. Jingwen MA is an Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), affiliated with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. His research interests include Light-matter Interaction; Integrated Photonics; III-V Semiconductor Lasers; Micro-electromechanical Systems; and Metamaterials. Dr. MA obtained his Ph.D. from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2021, focusing on nano-photonic circuits and nano-electro-mechanics. He has contributed to research published in Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Science Advances, and other prestigious journals. His work has been recognized by the Optical Society of America and the Chinese Optical Society. Dr. MA's current research focuses on nano-photonic devices and chips, aiming to discover exotic optical phenomena and develop innovative nano-devices for next-generation photonic chips.
