Hongyang DU

Hongyang Du is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Hong Kong. His research interests include Edge Intelligence, Generative Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networks, and Wireless Communications. Du is the Principal Investigator of the Network Intelligence and Computing Ecosystem (NICE) Lab, which focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence and computer networks. His work explores how intelligent networks can support AI services and how Generative AI can enhance network performance, security, and reliability. He obtained his Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and his B.Eng. from Beijing Jiaotong University, China.
