Jungsang Kim is the Schiciano Family Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University, where he is also a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and an Associate Director of the Duke Quantum Center. His research focuses on quantum computing with trapped ions, quantum information science, novel photonic devices, and the application of quantum computers. Kim leads the Multifunctional Integrated Systems Technology group at Duke, working on scalable quantum information processors and quantum communication networks.
