Giovanni Angelini is an Adjunct Associate Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, School of Hotel and Tourism Management. With over 50 years of experience in the hospitality industry across three continents, he has held executive roles including CEO of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts Group and Senior Vice President Asia-Pacific of Westin Hotels and Resorts. He is also founder and chairman of Angelini Hospitality consultancy firm and a board member of several public listed hotel companies. He has received numerous accolades, including the Corporate Hotelier of the World award and an honorary doctorate from Johnson & Wales University.
