Regular biography
Prof. David Ahlstrom is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Management at the CUHK Business School. He holds a BA, MPhil, PhD (New York), and MBA (Hawaii). His research focuses on managing in Asia, innovation and entrepreneurship, and economic growth. Prof. Ahlstrom has published over 160 peer-reviewed articles in journals such as the Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, and Journal of International Business Studies. He has co-authored a textbook on international management and guest edited several special issues of academic journals. His work has been recognized through awards, including the Highly Cited Researcher Award from Clarivate.
