Regular biography
Zhihan Wang is a Klarman Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at Cornell University. His research interests include differential geometry and geometric analysis, with a focus on geometric variation and evolution problems, such as minimal surfaces, mean curvature flow, harmonic maps, and Einstein manifolds. Wang has published several papers in leading journals and preprint archives, contributing to the understanding of minimal hypersurfaces and related topics. His work explores the intersections of geometric analysis with various mathematical structures, including Ricci flow and mean convex smoothing. As a faculty member, he is affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences and engages in both research and academic activities within the mathematics department.
