Anubhav Nanavaty is the H.C. Wang Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Cornell University. His research interests include the topology of solutions to polynomial equations, applications to number theory, and topological phases of matter. He is affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences and works within the fields of Algebraic Geometry and Algebraic Topology. Nanavaty's research focuses on motivic splittings for symmetric matrices and weight filtrations and derived motivic measures. He teaches courses such as MATH 1120: Calculus II and MATH 7580: Topics in Topology.
