Regular biography

Guanyu Li is a Teaching Associate in the Department of Mathematics at Cornell University. His research focuses on derived algebraic geometry, especially computations, and its links and applications to other areas of mathematics. His academic interests include derived algebraic geometry, algebraic geometry, homological algebra, and homotopy theory, as well as related fields such as representation theory, category theory, algebraic topology, complex geometry, and mathematical physics. His current projects involve representation homology, a DAG object modeling derived representation schemes, with an emphasis on computational aspects and connections to original algebro-geometric spaces. He has published works on topics such as commuting varieties of upper triangular matrices and representation homology, as well as the development of the RepHomology package for Macaulay2.
