Regular biography
Rodrigo Horruitiner Mendoza is a Teaching Associate in the Department of Mathematics at Cornell University. He holds a Ph.D. (2025) and M.S. (2018) from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru in mathematics, as well as a B.S. (2017) from the same institution. His academic interests include algebra, combinatorics, and discrete geometry. His research focuses on representation theory of real reductive groups, particularly combinatorics for K-types of discrete series representations, with an emphasis on positive formulas for multiplicities in the type A case of U(p,q).
