Inna Zakharevich

Inna Zakharevich is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Cornell University. Her research focuses on algebraic topology and algebraic K-theory, with an emphasis on formalizing geometric cutting-and-pasting problems. She explores methods to replace geometric notions with algebraic models, aiming to produce invariants for geometric problems. Her work includes applications to scissors congruence and the Grothendieck ring of varieties.
