Martin Kassabov is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Cornell University. His research interests include combinatorial group theory, with a focus on properties T and tau, as well as combinatorial algebra, particularly automorphism groups, Golod-Shafarevich groups, and group rings. His work has been published in several prestigious journals, including the Annals of Mathematics and the Journal of Topology. Kassabov teaches courses such as Honors Introduction to Algebra and Supervised Research at Cornell.
