Marie MacDonald is a Senior Lecturer and Stephen H. Weiss Provost Teaching Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at Cornell University. Her research focuses on number theory and combinatorial algebra, particularly integer-valued polynomials and their associated modules. She is especially interested in homogeneous integer-valued polynomials and the use of combinatorial geometry to construct them. MacDonald is also committed to enhancing student engagement and promoting mathematics education. She teaches courses such as Multivariable Calculus for Engineers and Teaching and Learning Mathematics.
