Regular biography
Shawn Blanton is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University and serves as Associate Department Head for Research. He holds the Joseph F. and Nancy Keithley Professor title. His research interests include integrated system test, testable design, and test methodology development. He is the founder of TestWorks, a Carnegie Mellon spinout focused on information extraction from IC test data. Blanton has published over 100 refereed conference and journal papers and has seven U.S. patents or patent applications filed. He is a fellow of the IEEE and senior member of the ACM. He has served on various technical program committees and has given over one-hundred talks at universities and companies.
