Mohammad Qasaimeh

Mohammad Qasaimeh is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Bioengineering at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. He is also a Global Network Associate Professor at NYU Abu Dhabi, where he directs the Advanced Microfluidics and Microdevices Laboratory (AMMLab). His research focuses on developing microfluidic and MEMS devices for biomedical applications and point of care diagnostics. Qasaimeh joined NYU Abu Dhabi from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. Prior to that, he worked as a Research Assistant at McGill University and as a Research Fellow at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School.

Mohammad A. Qasaimeh is a researcher at New York University Abu Dhabi, specializing in bio-microfluidics, Bio-MEMS, and bioengineering. His work focuses on developing microfluidic platforms for biomedical applications, including cell separation, cytometry, and biosensing. He has contributed to the design of microfluidic probes for life sciences and medicine, as well as integrated systems for adipose-tissue-on-chip and circulating tumor cell isolation. His research also explores tactile sensing for minimally invasive surgery and the integration of nanomaterials in lab-on-a-chip devices for sustainable agri-food industries. Qasaimeh's work emphasizes the development of advanced microfluidic technologies for healthcare and biomedical research.
