Regular biography
Professor Anthony Clarke is affiliated with the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering. He has demonstrated technical expertise and active leadership at the institution since August 2012. Clarke also holds an active role in corporate engineering leadership and management at several commercial, military, and aerospace companies, including BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, Zodiac Aerospace, and others. With twenty years of experience in academia and corporate sectors, he finds common ground where both can benefit. He created an internship process between Stevens Institute of Technology and Goodrich Actuation Systems and, as Chief Technology Officer at Vandguarde Consulting, developed a vehicle for students to develop intellectual property while partnering with private sector stakeholders. Clarke completed his undergraduate and advanced degrees from University at Buffalo and Binghamton University, respectively, and is also a graduate of the Lockheed Martin Leadership Development Program.
