Dr Nicole Abi-Esber

Dr Nicole Abi-Esber is an Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour in the Department of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She holds a PhD in Organisational Behaviour from the Harvard Business School. Her research focuses on how leaders can foster climates of safety and inclusion, enabling individuals to express themselves freely. Her work has been published in The Journal of Personality and Social Psychology and has been featured in The New York Times. Dr Abi-Esber employs group laboratory experiments and conversation analysis methods, including natural language processing, to explore topics such as employee voice, psychological safety, and nonverbal behaviour. Prior to her academic career, she worked as a product manager for technology startups in emerging markets and as a researcher with the Government of Dubai.
