Dr Catherine Thomas

Dr Catherine Thomas is an Associate Professor (Reader) of Managerial Economics and Strategy at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Department of Management. She is the Director of the International Trade Programme at the Centre for Economic Performance and a Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research. Dr Thomas is a Co-Editor of Economica and an Associate Editor of Management Science. Her research focuses on international economic integration, particularly how firms structure global value chains and the performance consequences of organisational and ownership decisions. She has published in leading journals such as the American Economic Review and Management Science. Dr Thomas has also served on the editorial boards of the Review of Economic Studies and the Strategic Management Journal.
