Dr Anuschka Schmitt

Dr Anuschka Schmitt is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the Department of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her research focuses on how AI-based systems enhance human work, individual decision-making, and learning, with a particular emphasis on conversational AI. She employs laboratory and field experiments, as well as digital trace data analysis. Dr Schmitt’s work has been published in journals such as the Journal of the Association of Information Systems. She holds a PhD from the University of St.Gallen and previously worked as a research fellow at Harvard University’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and a data analytics startup in Paris.
