Dr Hye-Young Kim is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Department of Management. She joined the department in 2019. Dr Kim earned her PhD in Behavioral Science from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. Her research focuses on consumers’ social judgments and decision making, particularly how technological advancements influence social perceptions and behaviors. She also studies goal pursuit and strategies to help consumers stay motivated. Her work has been published in several academic journals.
