Professor Richard Steinberg

Professor Richard Steinberg is a Chair in Operations Research at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Department of Management. He is a member of the Managerial Economics and Strategy Group and previously served as Faculty Group Lead for the Operations Management Group. Before joining LSE, he held faculty positions at the University of Cambridge, Columbia University, and the University of Chicago. He has also been a Visiting Associate Professor at Stanford University and a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories. His research focuses on auctions and mechanism design, with publications in leading journals such as Management Science and Operations Research.
