Dr Frido Wenten

Dr Frido Wenten is an Assistant Professor of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Department of Management. He joined the department in January 2018. His research focuses on labour relations and industrial development, particularly within the global automotive industry in China and Mexico. Dr Wenten is interested in the role of non-elite social groups in political economic change and institutional settlements. He completed his PhD in Development Studies at SOAS and holds postgraduate degrees from the Free University of Berlin and the University of Sussex. Prior to joining LSE, he taught at the Department of International Development at LSE and the Department of Development Studies at SOAS.
