Dr Jiaqing (Kathy) Sun

Dr Jiaqing (Kathy) Sun is an Assistant Professor of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Beijing Normal University. Prior to joining LSE, she was a Senior Lecturer at Monash Business School. Dr. Sun's research focuses on emotional and attributional processes in leader-follower interactions, particularly how employees and leaders perceive their relationships and interpret their experiences. Her work explores employees' feelings of gratitude toward leaders, especially in the context of servant leadership. Her research has been published in top journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology and the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. She has received the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) Graduate Scholarship and the Greenleaf Scholar award from the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership.
