James Jie Pan is an Assistant Researcher in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University. His research interests include vector and spatial database applications, techniques, and systems. He has published several papers in top-tier conferences and journals, including IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, VLDB Journal, and the Proceedings of the VLDB Endowment. His work focuses on ridesharing search, vector database management systems, and related technologies. Pan holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland, USA, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.
