Regular biography
Bo ZHANG is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition, Artificial Neural Networks, and Machine Learning. He has contributed to the development of problem-solving theories based on quotient space, multi-granular computing, and hierarchical problem solving. His work includes the analysis of probabilistic logic neuron networks and the design of learning algorithms for neural networks. He has also explored structural prediction learning theory and its applications in tasks such as image retrieval and classification. Bo ZHANG has received several awards, including the National Natural Science Award and Science and Technology Progress Awards from the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Electronic Industry. His academic contributions are reflected in numerous publications in journals such as Future Generation Computer Systems, Neural Networks, and IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks.
