Regular biography
Bin LIU is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University. He joined the department in 1995 and has been actively involved in research and teaching in computer architecture, telecommunications, and computer networks. His research interests include high-performance switches/routers, parallel computing architecture, traffic measurement and management, and high-speed network security. He has led several national projects, including the development of core routers and large-capacity broadband/narrowband hybrid switches. He has published over 180 papers in high-quality journals and IEEE conferences, holds 14 patents, and has contributed to numerous technological innovations that have been commercialized. He has also served in various editorial and program committee roles for international conferences and journals.
