Regular biography
Bin XU is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University. His research interests include semantic web service composition, location algorithms for wireless sensor networks, and data processing in software product lines. He has contributed to the development of service composition systems and has led projects under the National 863 High-Tech Program and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. His work has focused on improving the efficiency of automatic service composition through models such as the Service Data Link (SDL) and Service Dependency Graph (SDG). He has also received several awards, including the Science and Technology Progress Award by the City of Beijing and recognition in IEEE CEC/EEE Web Service Challenges. His academic contributions include publications in IEEE Trans. Service Computing and the Journal of Computer Science & Technology.
