Zhenchun HUANG is an Associate Researcher in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University. He joined the department in 2001 and has been involved in research on distributed and grid computing, particularly in applications related to Earth observation and navigation. His work includes the development of the Spatial Information Grid (SIG) and associated middleware, as well as projects funded by the National 863 High-Tech Program and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. HUANG has contributed to the design of on-demand data services and has applied his research in areas such as disaster response and forestry resource management. His academic publications focus on grid computing and its applications.
