Regular biography
Yuchun MA is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University. He joined the department in 2002 and has been actively involved in research related to Computer-Aided Design of VLSI Circuits, Systems Design and Analysis of Algorithms, and optimization techniques for integrated circuits. His work includes developing systems and tools for optimizing the physical layout and logical design of integrated circuits, as well as algorithms for combinatorial and stochastic optimization. MA has led several projects on 3D ICs and has published papers in top conferences such as ICCAD, DAC, and ASPDAC. He has also received the ASICON 2007 Best Paper Award. His research integrates various constraints such as timing, layout, and power to improve the performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of IC design processes.
