Regular biography
Youjian ZHAO is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University. He joined the department in 2001 and has been involved in research focusing on high-speed internet architecture, switching and routing, and high-speed network equipment. His work includes the development of high-performance IPv4/v6 routers and scalable switching networks. He has led national programs related to router research and has contributed to the design of key technologies in router hardware and system architecture. ZHAO has published 41 papers, with 3 indexed by SCI and 28 by EI, and has filed five patents. His research has been recognized with several awards, including the China Youth Science and Technology Award and the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
