Regular biography
Yongwei WU is a Professor and Vice Head at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University. He joined the department in 2002 and has been engaged in research areas such as distributed systems, cloud computing, and parallel processing. His work includes contributions to data deduplication, fault tolerance, and performance optimization in large-scale computing environments. He has published numerous papers in top-tier conferences and journals, including IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems, IEEE Cloud Computing, and others. His research has been recognized with awards, including the ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award. WU also plays an active role in teaching and laboratory activities at Tsinghua University.
