Regular biography
Yiqun LIU is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University. He joined the department in 2007 and holds a Bachelor's and Ph.D. in Computer Science & Technology from Tsinghua University. His research interests include Web information retrieval, user behavior analysis, and natural language processing. He has served in various leadership roles at conferences such as SIGIR and ICTIR, and has been an editorial board member for journals like Information Retrieval and JASIST. His work has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Tsinghua-Sohu Joint Lab on Web Search Technology. He has published extensively in top conferences and journals, including WWW, CIKM, and WSDM, and has contributed to the development of algorithms and systems adopted by Sogou.com.
