Regular biography
Xuehai Qian is a Full Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University. His research focuses on computer architecture, computer systems, and hardware security, with particular emphasis on parallel computer architecture, domain-specific architectures for graph analytics and machine learning, and hardware security. He has contributed to scalable cache coherence protocols, hardware precise sequential consistency violation detection, and distributed frameworks for graph processing. Qian has held positions at Purdue University and the University of Southern California, and he is affiliated with the Institute of High Performance Computing. His work has been recognized through awards such as the MICRO Hall of Fame and the ISCA Hall of Fame.
