Weimin Zheng

Weimin Zheng is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University. His research interests include high-performance computer architecture, parallel algorithms and systems, storage systems, and big data and artificial intelligence processing platforms. Professor Zheng has contributed to the development of scalable storage system architectures, lightweight parallel scaling mechanisms, and domestic network storage systems with independent intellectual property rights. He has also introduced lightweight encoding methods for high-fault-tolerance erasure codes and rapid data self-healing models. His work has led to the successful deployment of high-performance computers based on cluster architectures in China. He has authored or co-authored 10 textbooks and monographs and has received numerous prestigious awards, including the First Class and Second Class National Science and Technology Progress Awards, the ACM Gordon Bell Prize, and the Science and Technology Progress Award from the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation.
