Wei XUE

Wei XUE is a Professor and Director at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University. He joined the department in 2003 and holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University. His research interests include scientific computing, uncertainty quantification, and high-performance computing. He has led several research projects funded by national programs, focusing on geoscience applications and supercomputer performance optimization. His work has been recognized with awards such as the ACM Gordon Bell Prize. He is also affiliated with the High Performance Computing Institute and contributes to various academic and professional committees.

Wei Xue is a researcher at Tsinghua University with expertise in high performance computing, scientific computing, parallel I/O, climate system modeling, and uncertainty quantification. Their work focuses on developing scalable algorithms and models for climate simulations, including the FGOALS-g2 and BCC-CSM2-HR models.
