Regular biography

Qiang ZHOU is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University. He joined the department in 2004 and holds a full-time faculty position. His research interests include Electronic Design Automation, VLSI Physical Design Algorithms, and related areas. He has contributed to national projects such as the Development of Advanced EDA Tools and research on Cache Coherence Network on Chip. His work addresses challenges in 3D IC design automation, ultra-large and mixed-mode placement, and interconnect optimization. He has published extensively in top conferences and journals, including IEEE and ACM venues, and has served in leadership roles at international conferences such as the IEEE International Conference on Field-Programmable Technology.
