Regular biography
Jing Chen is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University. Her research interests include Theory of Computation, Algorithmic Game Theory, Mechanism Design, Blockchain, and Distributed Ledger technologies. She has contributed to various areas such as auction design, distributed systems, and secure protocols. Her work has been published in prominent journals and conferences, including the ACM Transactions on Economics and Computation, where she serves as an Associate Editor. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has been affiliated with Tsinghua University since 2004. Her research focuses on designing systems where multiple entities interact to achieve global goals through rigorous theoretical frameworks.
