Regular biography
Guangwen YANG is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University. He joined the department in 1999 and holds a position as a Full Professor. His research interests include parallel and distributed computing, with projects supported by the National Basic Research Program, National Natural Science Foundation, and National 863 High-Tech Program. He has published over 85 papers in international journals and conferences, focusing on grid computing, high-performance computing, and data grid systems. He has also directed the development of Corsair, a cloud storage product in China, and contributed to advancements in earth system modeling and peer-to-peer systems. His work has received several awards, including the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
