Regular biography
Prof. Dr. Yongge Wei is a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at Tsinghua University. His research interests include the chemistry of polyoxometalates, coordination chemistry, and single-crystal X-ray crystallography, with a focus on the synthesis and chemical modification of polyoxometalates, polyoxometalate-promoted/catalyzed C-H bond activation and direct functionalization, and the reaction chemistry and controllable assembly of organically-derivatized polyoxometalates. He is a member of the Third Council of Chinese Society of Crystallography and a member of the Small Molecules Committee of Chinese Society of Crystallography. His work has been published in several high-impact journals, including Angewandte Chemie and the Journal of the American Chemical Society.
