Regular biography
Dr. Bijie Li is a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at Tsinghua University. He began his undergraduate studies at Peking University, where he conducted research in Prof. Zhang-Jie Shi's lab and earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry in 2007. He continued his graduate studies at Peking University under Prof. Zhang-Jie Shi and later completed postdoctoral work at the University of California, Berkeley in Prof. John Hartwig's group. In 2015, Dr. Li joined Tsinghua University as an associate professor. His research interests include organometallic chemistry, alkene functionalization, and electrochemistry. He has published several articles in prestigious journals such as the Journal of the American Chemical Society and Angewandte Chemie.
