Chanjuan Xi

Prof. Chanjuan Xi is a Faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at Tsinghua University. She earned her B.Sc. degree in 1986 from Lanzhou University and later obtained a Master’s degree in Physical Chemistry from the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She completed her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Hokkaido University in 1999 and spent one year as a postdoctoral fellow at the Catalysis Research Center, Hokkaido University. Since 2000, she has been affiliated with Tsinghua University, where she teaches courses such as <Physical Organic Chemistry> and <Organotransition Metal Chemistry>. Her research focuses on transition metal-induced novel reactions for organic synthesis and the activation and functionalization of carbon dioxide. She has published numerous papers in leading journals, including Green Chem., Org. Chem. Front., and ACS Catal.
