Yong Qiu

Prof. Dr. Yong Qiu is a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at Tsinghua University. He was born in Sichuan province in 1964 and received a BS in chemistry from Tsinghua University in 1988 and a PhD in chemistry from Tsinghua University in 1994. He is currently the vice president of Tsinghua University and the director of the Key Lab of Organic Optoelectronics and Molecular Engineering of Ministry of Education. His research focuses on organic optoelectronics, particularly organic semiconductors, the fundamental theories of organic electronics, organic light emitting materials and devices. He has published numerous papers in leading journals in the field.
