Prof. Xun Wang is a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at Tsinghua University. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees in chemical engineering from Northwest University in 1998 and 2001, respectively, and his Ph.D. in chemistry from Tsinghua University in 2004. He joined the faculty as an assistant professor in 2004, was promoted to associate professor in 2005, and to full professor in 2007. His research interests include synthetic methodology, self-assembly, and properties of inorganic nanocrystals. His work has been recognized with several awards, including the Science and Technology Award for Chinese Youth and the IUPAC Prize for Young Chemists. Selected publications include studies on nanocrystals and nanotubes in prestigious journals such as Angewandte Chemie International Edition and the Journal of the American Chemical Society.
